The National Construction Authority is a state corporation established under Section 3 of the NCA Act No. 41 of 2011 with a mandate to oversee the construction industry and coordinate its development.

HIGH-LEVEL STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT TO ENHANCE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NATIONAL BUILDING CODE 2024

The National Construction Authority has intensified its stakeholder engagement initiatives through a series of high-level meetings with key institutions in the legal, regulatory and administrative sectors aimed at strengthening the implementation of the National Building Code 2024 and promoting a safer, more accountable and compliant built environment. As part of these engagements, the Authority held discussions with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and the Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ), commonly known as Ombudsman Kenya.

FREE CTD TRAINING AND ACCREDITATION OF SKILLED CONSTRUCTION WORKERS AND SITE SUPERVISORS.

Officers from the National Construction Authority have been implementing a Rapid Results Initiative (RRI) program on various construction sites across the country to sensitize construction workers and site supervisors on quality assurance, compliance with NCA regulations, occupational health and safety, and accreditation of construction workers and site supervisors, among other key regulatory requirements.

The National Construction Authority (NCA) wishes to notify all registered contractors that the renewal of practicing licenses for the 2026/2027 financial year will be conducted from July 1 to July 30, 2026.
