Mutinda is a Director at Buildnett Consultants Ltd – a Quantity Surveying & Project Management firm.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Building Economics from the University of Nairobi and a post graduate Diploma in Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management, London.

He is a practising Quantity Surveyor with over 19 years post registration experience.

He is the current President of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK).

Mutinda is an active member (MCIArb) of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London with extensive experience both as an Arbitrator and an expert witness in construction disputes.

He likes to play golf in his free time.
