NCA HONOURED WITH THREE MAJOR RECOGNITIONS BY HEAD OF PUBLIC SERVICE

The National Construction Authority (NCA) has been celebrated for exceptional performance and leadership during the 2025 End-Year Reflection Dinner and 2026 Agenda Setting convened by the Head of Public Service on Friday, 5th December 2025, in Kisumu. The event brought together key public sector institutions to review progress, align priorities, and acknowledge outstanding achievements across government.
During the ceremony, NCA received three distinguished awards, underscoring its commitment to accountability, regulatory excellence, and transformative service delivery.
1. Recognition for Achievement of an Unmodified Audit Report (FY 2023/2024)
NCA was honoured for securing an unmodified audit opinion from the Office of the Auditor-General, an achievement that marks a significant milestone in the government's Zero Fault Audit Campaign. This recognition reflects the Authority’s strengthened financial controls, transparency, and disciplined compliance with public finance management standards.
2. Recognition for Excellence in Regulatory Action and Service Delivery
The Authority was further acknowledged for exemplary regulatory performance, following notable improvements in the deployment of regulatory interventions. These efforts have resulted in measurable enhancements in the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of services provided to citizens.
This recognition aligns with the national campaign to revitalise and re-energise Regulatory Authorities and Agencies, highlighting NCA’s leadership in modernising regulatory practice within the construction sector.
3. Recognition for Exemplary Performance in Delivering the Core Mandate
NCA also received recognition for its exemplary execution of its core mandate. This award celebrates the Authority’s bold reforms, transformative initiatives, and strengthened institutional direction. Through strong leadership and sustained operational excellence, NCA has enhanced organisational capacity, improved service delivery, and generated measurable value for stakeholders.
