Who We Are

The National Construction Authority is a state corporation established under Section 3 of the NCA Act No. 41 of 2011 with a mandate to oversee the construction industry and coordinate its development.

The National Construction Authority (NCA) has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting gender inclusivity, enhancing professional development and expanding opportunities for women in the construction industry following a consultative meeting with a delegation from Women in Real Estate Kenya (WIRE). The meeting was attended by NCA Chairperson, Ms. Mercy Okiro, and Ag. Executive Director Qs. Susan Rutto. The WIRE delegation was led by its President, Qs. Rachel Patience Mulondo, accompanied by members of the organisation’s leadership.

RENEWAL OF CONTRACTORS PRACTICING LICENSES

The National Construction Authority is urging all registered contractors to ensure that they renew their NCA practising licences annually and within the stipulated renewal period to maintain compliance and continue undertaking construction works legally in Kenya. The annual renewal of a practising licence is an important regulatory requirement that enables contractors to maintain their registration status and demonstrate continued compliance with the requirements governing the construction industry.
